The Underwater Search and Rescue team, operating under the Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, is getting stronger. 4 more divers in the expert team in a number of provinces in the region completed their second level training and received their badges. The team participated in the 5-day challenging training sessions in İzmir, where different weather conditions and conditions were experienced, and proved their success in the cold waters of the Aegean. The Underwater Search and Rescue team, consisting of 12 divers in total, will be able to protect life safety at the highest level in all conditions in Kahramanmaraş's rich water resources and dams.
Alerts Against Choking
In Kahramanmaraş, where more than 10 drowning cases occur on average every year, the Underwater Search and Rescue team is on the alert for 7 days and 24 hours in case of any adverse situation. Kahramanmaraş Underwater Search and Rescue Team, one of the most experienced teams in the region, is appreciated for its success in interventions. In the statement made by the Fire Brigade Department, it was stated that we were always ready for the safety of the city and its citizens.
