AKP Eskişehir Provincial President Zihni Çalışkan reacted to the fact that the Alpu Municipality of CHP, along with the residents of the district, who wanted to stop the Rail Systems Test Center Project (URAYSİM), which is planned to be built on the fertile agricultural lands of Eskişehir's Alpu Plain, filed a lawsuit to stop the execution of the project. Stating that they will not allow obstructions, Çalışkan said, "We are not against the project, but against the place of the project," said CHP Alpu Mayor Gürbüz Güller.

Alpu Mayor Gürbüz Güller reacted to the statements of AKP Eskişehir Provincial President Zihni Çalışkan, who stated that the URAYSİM project, which is planned to be implemented in the Alpu district of Eskişehir, which is described as the agricultural warehouse, means work and food for the city and that they will not allow any obstacles to be created in this regard.
Güller said that within the scope of the URAYSİM project carried out by Anadolu University, the immovables that coincided with the expropriation area were subject to expropriation with the decision of the Anadolu University Board of Directors.

According to the healing information we have obtained, even the Ministry of Agriculture has not been consulted in detail for the project area. We know that there are alternative lands around us.
For the project site; It would be appropriate in all respects to consider agricultural issues as well as other issues (economic, technical, social, political). As our municipality, our objection is in this direction and it is definitely not to oppose.”
