The first export contract was signed for the HABRAS (Warhead Rail System Dynamic Test Infrastructure) rail test infrastructure developed by TUBITAK SAGE to test ammunition, propulsion systems and environmental effects. The contract was shared by TUBITAK SAGE Institute Director Gürcan Okumuş on his social media account. The country with which HABRAS' export contract was signed was not disclosed.
We signed our first international service contract at HABRAS.✍️
We are now exporting the test service that we bought from outside for millions of dollars until recently.

HABRAS, which is a field test infrastructure, allows the relevant test for systems or sub-systems to be carried out in a controlled manner, close to real or tactical conditions. The controlled testing environment is an important tool that allows a designer to collect data to validate his design and update the design if needed. In this context, the HABRAS infrastructure allows dynamic testing of systems or sub-systems at subsonic and supersonic speeds.
In HABRAS, tests of very different and diverse systems/sub-systems can be performed.
- Ammo: Warhead drilling efficiency, warhead performance, fuze performance, propulsion systems, behavior of seeker system in dynamic environment and behavior of guidance system in dynamic environment;
- Personnel Recovery: Emergency ejection seats, parachute (within the scope of aviation and space studies), canopy separation, rocket catapult system, survival kits;
- Environmental Effects: Rain/ice/particle, high acceleration charge, explosive pressure pulse effect;
- Propulsion Systems: Solid fuel rocket engine performance, liquid fuel rocket engine performance, aircraft/aircraft/spacecraft engine tests.
