Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank (AIIB), Ispartakule-Çerkezköy will give 300 million Euros to Turkey for the railway project. The project received a loan of 150 million Euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in November.

Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank (AIIB), Ispartakule-Çerkezköy announced that it will give 300 million Euros to Turkey for the railway project.

In the statement made by AIIB, it was stated that the loan extension to Turkey was approved by the bank management and said, “(This) strategic transport project forms a part of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor (TRACECA) and is located between the Black Sea basin, South Caucasus and Central Asia. It aims to strengthen economic, trade and transportation relations.
