The Winter-1 Operation Coup against the PKK's Winter Base

In the Eren Kış-7 Operations launched on 1 November; 2 terrorists were neutralized in the Bestler-Dereler region, 85 caves, shelters and warehouses were destroyed.

It was determined that one of the neutralized terrorists was one of the perpetrators of the 2019 shepherds killed in Şırnak in 2 and the armed attack in the Beribira region.

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Interior, the Eren Winter Operations were launched with the teams consisting of Gendarmerie Commando, Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH), Police Special Operations (PÖH) and security guards in order to remove the separatist terrorist organization in the country from the country's agenda. In the operations, the weapons, equipment and life materials of the PKK terrorist organization are detected and destroyed in the shelters.

The Organization's Winter Base Is Not Allowed

Within the scope of Eren Kış-1 Operations, in the caves, shelters and warehouses found in the Bestler-Dereler region of Şırnak;

• 1 piece of 60 mm.lig mortar,
• 1 Zagros gun,
• 1 Dragunov sniper rifle,
• 6 EYP,
• 3 M-16 Infantry Rifles,
• 8 grenades,
• 5 kg. explosive,
• 103 rocket launchers,
• 2 car radios,
• 5 handheld radios, vital food and supplies, a large number of weapons and ammunition belonging to these weapons, organizational documents, medical supplies, various kitchens, clothing, cleaning, stationery, hardware and living supplies were seized.

It was determined that two separate attacks were from the perpetrators.

The identity of the 1 terrorists neutralized in the Bestler-Dereler region of Şırnak during the Eren Kış-2 operation and the actions they participated in were determined. It was determined that one of the terrorists was one of the perpetrators of the 9 shepherds killed in Şırnak Herguş Plateau on 2019 July 2 and an armed attack in Şırnak Beribira region on 24 July 2019.
