In the Shell Helix 2021 Turkish Rally Championship, which witnessed a great deal of contention, the knot is resolved in the sixth race of the season, the Istanbul Rally. The 41st Istanbul Rally, which also scores points for the Turkey Historic Rally Championship and the Şevki Gökerman Rally Cup, will be run on the Anatolian side of Istanbul on 27-28 November with the participation of 70 cars and 140 athletes.
Organized by the Istanbul Automobile Sports Club, whose short name is İSOK, with the sponsorship of Budget and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the organization will start with the ceremonial start to be held at Viaport Marina in Tuzla on Friday, 26 November at 19.15. The teams will start the first day of the rally on Saturday, 27 November at 10.00:15.40 from the Autodrom, and after passing the Ballıca and Göçbeyli stages twice, they will complete the first day at the Autodrom at XNUMX.
The second day of the rally will start at 28:09.30 on Sunday, 2 November, and this time the teams will pass the Oruçoğlu and Budget stages twice, and will fight for the championship of the rally and the Turkish Championship. The 105st Istanbul Rally, which will be run on a total of 335 kilometers, 41 kilometers of which is a special stage, will come to an end with the finishing ceremony and award ceremony to be held at the Autodrom on Sunday, November 28 at 16.30.
After five races in the Shell Helix 2021 Turkish Rally Championship, Buğra Banaz-Gürkal Menderes and Burak Çukurova-Vedat Bostancı, as well as Ümit Can Özdemir- Batuhan Memişyazıcı, have a chance to become the Turkish Rally Championship.
