Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer and Pakistan's Ambassador to Ankara, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, toured Pakistan Boulevard organized by the Metropolitan Municipality in the Food Bazaar. The Ambassador expressed his honor and thanked the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for naming the boulevard after his country.
Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyerhosted Pakistan's Ambassador to Ankara, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, at his office at the Sovereignty House. President Soyer and Ambassador Sajjad Qazi visited the 400-meter street near the Konak Food Bazaar, which was later turned into a boulevard. The Ambassador expressed his honor on behalf of his country that the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality named the boulevard Pakistan, and thanked Mayor Soyer.
Ambassador Sajjad Qazi said, “I have seen all of Turkey, but İzmir has a very different spirit. I have stayed in Izmir before with my wife. Thank you so much for everything you do for us. You have also renewed the Pakistan Pavilion in Kulturpark. It has been truly wonderful.”
İzmir Chamber of Commerce President Mahmut Özgener, İzmir Chamber of Commerce Assembly President Selami Özpoyraz, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Dr. Buğra Gökçe and Pakistan's Honorary Consul in İzmir Cahit Yaşar Eren also attended.
