Konya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department continues to train firefighters abroad in partnership with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).

Konya Fire Department has recently started “Fire Response, Search and Rescue and First Aid Training” training for 20 firefighters from Libya within the scope of the Emergency and Disaster Response Training Program (ADAMEP).

Libyan firefighters in the ongoing program at Konya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade Training Center; He receives both theoretical and practical training in firefighting, search and rescue, traffic accident response, first aid and crime scene investigation.

Muhamed Tayep, the head of the fire department that came from Libya, stated that they benefited from the training given by the Konya Fire Department and said, “The lessons we learned were good. How to fight fire in the training process; We learned about search and rescue, first aid, fighting against natural disasters. We saw that Konya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department has very advanced and advanced equipment. We have benefited greatly during our training here. " said.

Another Libyan firefighter, Faisal Ali, said, “Here, both the equipment and the experience of the personnel are at a high level. Thank you to the State of Turkey. The Republic of Turkey provides educational support to many institutions in Libya in various fields. I would like to thank the State of Turkey, Konya Metropolitan Municipality and firefighters.” he said.

Libyan Firefighters who successfully complete the training will be given a certificate.
