Negotiations continue for the main tender of Kanal Istanbul

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu talked about the mega projects carried out by the Ministry. Explaining that his work on Kanal Istanbul continues, Karaismailoğlu said, "Our negotiations and preparation works for the main tender are continuing."

Karaismailoğlu, who gave information about the works of Kanal Istanbul, stated that the transportation roads are currently being built and the construction of the bridge has started. Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said, “Our negotiations and preparatory work for the main tender continue. The only reason for the delay is that we have an extraordinary work to manage and undertake the construction of this project with its own revenues, without any burden on the general budget. We are trying to overcome this project without burdening the general budget,” he said.
