In 2022, with the new vehicles that will join our fleet, we will reduce our fleet age from 11 to 9 in the metrobus line and from 10 to 9 in the bus fleet.”

FAULTS ARE DECREASING

Bilgili said, “When we examined the number of malfunctions per kilometer, while the number of malfunctions was 2018 per 2019 thousand kilometers in 10 and 5, we reduced this number to 2 in the last 4 years. In 2022, we aim to reduce the total number of faults per day below 400”.

The maintenance of our vehicles is carried out by 5 different companies that submitted the lowest bids in these tenders. In accordance with the principle of transparency, we broadcast our last BRT vehicle purchase tender live, and we will continue to broadcast all our future high-amount tenders live.”
