The Unmanned Land Vehicles (UGA) and Military Robotic Technologies, organized by the Presidency of Defense Industry (SSB) of the Republic of Turkey, on Tuesday, November 9, at FNSS Gölbaşı facilities, with the participation of representatives from the Turkish Armed Forces, Ministry of Interior, Presidency of Defense Industries, Turkish Defense Industry sector and the press. In the ceremony where light, medium and heavy class unmanned land vehicles developed within the scope of light, medium and heavy class unmanned land vehicle projects initiated by the Presidency of Defense Industries were exhibited and live demonstrations were held, the Heavy Class Unmanned Land Vehicle Mass Production Declaration of Intent Signing Ceremony was held. Developed by FNSS, the Shadow Horseman is a family of autonomous unmanned land vehicles, capable of remote command or autonomous movement, that can meet all kinds of missions, especially fire support, with its design that allows the integration of useful payloads suitable for the task.

The Shadow Horseman vehicle family, built on the M113 platform, also offers optional manned use. It is aimed to equip the Shadow Horseman with the autonomy kit, which is under development by FNSS. The vehicle, which has a high level of human-machine interaction, can be used for reconnaissance, logistics, supply and fortification missions; It is aimed to increase the mission and operational capability of friendly elements in the field by providing support with autonomous capabilities such as patrol, tracking and returning to the base. The SABER-25 turret system developed by FNSS will be integrated into the Shadow Horseman, and it is planned to develop 5 Shadow Horsemen in different configurations in the first stage within the scope of the contract to be signed.
