Asphalt work begins on the Karaman Bridge, which is located on Hürriyet Street, in the Konyaaltı district of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, which was demolished and started to be built again. Due to the asphalt work that will start on Wednesday, November 17 and will last for 15 days, an alternative route has been determined for the drivers.

The works that Antalya Metropolitan Municipality started on August 23 by demolishing the Karaman bridge on Hürriyet Caddesi, which connects many neighborhoods such as Çakırlar, Doyran, Bahti, Karatepe and Geyikbayırı to the city center, in the district of Konyaaltı, have been completed. Asphalt preparation works begin in the construction of the Karaman Bridge, which is 14.5 meters wide and 160 meters long.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE WILL BE USED

In this context, asphalt and arrangement works on the Karaman Bridge will begin on Wednesday, November 17th. The works are planned to be completed within 15 days.

During the study, it was stated that the vehicles that will go from the direction of Uncalı Cemetery to the direction of Çakları and from Çakları to the direction of Uncalı Cemetery should use 1477 Sokak-1465 Street and 1485 Streets as alternative routes.

Metropolitan Municipality officials warned citizens to take into account the direction signs in order to ensure the continuity of traffic flow.
