Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Public Bread Factory announced that despite the high increase in input costs, bread prices will not be increased until the flour in its stocks is exhausted. In the statement that the current price of the public bread sold in Retail Stores, Public Bread kiosks and Başkent Markets will not be changed, “We sell at a loss. Until we run out of flour stocks, 250 grams of bread will be sold as 1 lira and 25 kuruş," it said.

Metropolitan Municipality Ankara Public Bread Factory shared an important announcement about bread prices with the citizens of the Capital.

In the statement made by the People's Bread Factory; Despite the increase in many items from energy to transportation, from raw materials to labor costs, it was stated that "250 grams of bread will be sold as 1 lira and 25 kuruş until the flour stocks are exhausted".

“WE SELL AT A LOSS”

Informing the citizens with the announcement it made, Halk Bread Factory also shared its cost table, noting that the total cost of 250 grams of bread rose to 1 lira and 86 cents due to the increase in input costs:

  • Market average price of 1 kg of bread flour: 5 TL
  • Raw material cost: 1,07 TL
  • Labor, energy and other factory expenses: 0,58 TL
  • Shipping cost: 0,09 TL
  • Buffet share: 0,12 TL
