In official schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education; Teachers working in private schools and higher education institutions approved by the Ministry will be able to benefit from 50 percent discount on YHT and mainline train tickets between 24-30 November.
Within the scope of the Teachers' Day Campaign by the General Directorate of Transport of TCDD, 24 percent discount on high-speed train (YHT) and mainline train tickets will be applied to teachers working in public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, private schools approved by the Ministry and higher education institutions.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, TCDD Transportation General Directorate will implement the "Teachers' Day Campaign", which it has been carrying out since 2016, this year as well.
In this context, teachers working in public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, private schools approved by the Ministry and higher education institutions will be able to use YHT and mainline trains with a 24 percent discount on 30-50 November.
Passengers are offered many alternatives in ticket sales.
Teachers who want to take advantage of the campaign, which attracts a lot of attention, can obtain their tickets in different ways. Passengers can buy their tickets from the box office, website, mobile application, or by calling the call center at 444 82 33 or from agencies.
During the campaign, it will be sufficient for teachers to show their teacher ID cards at the boarding points after purchasing their tickets.
A total of 2016 teachers have benefited from the Teachers' Day discounts, which were launched for the first time in 19.
24 percent discount at PTT Cargo
Within the scope of the campaign organized by PTT AŞ on the occasion of Teachers' Day, 24 percent discount will be made on PTT's domestic APS courier and postal cargo fees on November 24.
Teachers who want to take advantage of the discount will only need to present their teacher ID card at the time of sending the cargo.
