We commemorate Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Founder of the Republic of Turkey, with longing on the 83rd Anniversary of His Death

We commemorate the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gave his life for the freedom of the Turkish nation, the Commander-in-Chief of our War of Independence and gifted the Republic to us, on the 83rd anniversary of his death.

As railwaymen, we are working hard to carry forward the legacy of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who founded the Republic of Turkey and worked all his life to raise it to the level of contemporary civilizations.

Atatürk, who nationalized the railway lines that were built during the Ottoman period and held by foreigners, said: "Railways are a more important safety weapon of a country than a ball and a rifle." He showed the importance he gave to the railways. We, too, continue our work with the aim of becoming the 'Leading Railway Operator of Our Region' among the countries of the world by revising the railway development that Atatürk started as the greatest railwayman, in accordance with the technology and time.

We are working hard with determination and determination to make our republic stand forever and to add the advantages of national and domestic railways to the achievements of the Republic of Turkey.

With this belief, I once again commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with gratitude and mercy on the 83rd anniversary of his death.
