What is URAYSIM?

URAYSİM, which is included in the Presidency Investment Program, is the most important project implemented recently in terms of railway transportation in our country. The studies carried out for the realization of the URAYSİM Project, which is aimed to lead the rail system sector with the development of high-tech infrastructure, are being developed under the responsibility of Anadolu University and with the cooperation of Eskişehir Technical University, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) and TÜRASAŞ. With the project, Turkey will be in a more competitive position in the international railway industry market as the first country in Europe to have a 400 km long test track where High Speed ​​​​Train tests can be carried out at 52 kilometers per hour. The project, which will also meet the needs of TÜRASAŞ with the completion of the test units, buildings and roads, will bring many gains such as realization of production with domestic facilities, having an international say, training personnel and researchers in the field of railway transportation.
