Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer visited Istanbul Airport Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Istanbul Airport Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which was opened in the 2021-2022 academic year with the protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education and Yıldız Technical University, Hasan Kalyoncu University, İGA Airport Operation AŞ and Turkish Airlines Technical AŞ, is located in the Istanbul Airport campus.

Minister Özer noted the following during his visit: “In the 2021-2022 academic year, we started education with 4 students in our school, which we designed as English preparation + 30 years in the 'aircraft maintenance area'. For our school, which has received a great deal of attention, we have started to work on opening departments for all employment areas needed in the aviation sector, such as 'transportation services, civil aviation and food services' in the coming years. We also put the opening of a kindergarten in the Istanbul Airport campus on our agenda.”

Minister Özer, accompanied by Yıldız Technical University faculty members, met with the preparatory class students studying English. sohbet and gave gifts to them, and also toured the school library, which was opened as part of the “No School Without a Library” project.

During his visit, Özer was accompanied by Kadri Samsunlu, Chairman and General Manager of İGA Airport Operations, and İlker Aycı, Chairman of the THY Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
