The first tender phase of the Kartepe Cable Car Line Project, which will be built by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the Industry Cooperation Program (SIP) of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was held. Within the scope of the tender submitted by 3 companies, the second and third meetings will be held with the companies in November and their bids will be received.

The tender for Turkey's first national cable car project was held at the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality tender hall. The tender, in which the company officials were present, was published online.

3 PARTICIPATED IN THE COMPANY

While 3 companies submitted files for the cable car line, the documents were examined one by one. It was learned that while the documents of all three companies were approved, the second and third tenders would be held for technical specifications and price offers.

METROPOLITAN WANTS TO START THE PROJECT ASAP

Leitner AG/SpA, Grant Yapı Teleferik and Bartholet Maschinensau AG-Kırtur Tourism partnership participated in the prequalification tender by submitting a dossier. The head of the tender commission, Rail Systems Branch Manager Fatih Gürel, emphasized to the companies that they wanted to start the project as soon as possible and that they had to hurry to complete the process.

COMPANIES REQUEST TIME

Company officials, on the other hand, requested time until the end of November to carry out foreign correspondence. While their demands were met positively, the companies that the Metropolitan wanted to start and finish the project immediately were reminded.

THE FIRST LOCAL AND NATIONAL ROPE CAR

The first domestic and national cable car line of Turkey, which will be built with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and will run between Derbent and Kuzuyayla, will be 4 thousand 695 meters.

CARRY 1500 PEOPLE PER HOUR

In the cable car project, which will include 2 stations, 10 cabins for 73 people will serve. The elevation distance on the cable car line with a capacity of 1500 people per hour will be 1090 meters.

TARGET TO BE OPEN IN 2023

Accordingly, the starting level will be 331 meters and the arrival level will be 1421 meters. The distance between the two stations will be exceeded in 14 minutes. The cable car line is planned to be completed and put into service in 2023.
