The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which is known as the "bridge of symbols" due to its features and will stand out with its fine details in its engineering and will be the "longest middle span bridge in the world", was designed as 100 meters in reference to the 2023th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
The tower connections and elements of the bridge will be in red and white colors in reference to the Turkish flag. The upper part of the towers on both sides will represent the cannonball that Seyit Onbaşı fired into the barrel during the Dardanelles War.
In addition to the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, the highway project includes 2 approach viaducts, 2 reinforced concrete viaducts, 6 underpass bridges, 6 hydraulic bridges, 43 overpasses (1 ecological), 40 underpasses, 228 culverts in various sizes. , 12 junctions (including junctions on the state road), 4 highway service facilities, 2 maintenance operation centers and 7 toll collection stations are being built.

Thanks to the project, the ports, railway and air transportation systems in the Marmara and Aegean Regions, which are the most developed regions of the Turkish economy and where a significant part of the population live, will be integrated with road transportation projects; In these regions, economic development and the creation of a balanced planning and structuring required by the industry will be provided.
The bridge is planned to be put into service on March 107, 18, which coincides with the 2022th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory.
