skoda's new student car kamiq will be a rally car

SKODA's eighth Student Car is starting to take shape. After delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 25 students from SKODA Vocational School started working on their projects. This year's project will be a rally version of the SKODA KAMIQ.

With the draft drawings that emerged in the SKODA Design department, the students began to realize their dreams. The KAMIQ rally vehicle will be performed by students from the first idea to development and production. With this vehicle, for the first time, the SKODA Academy project will collaborate with SKODA Motorsport. The ŠKODA KAMIQ will also be used as a student car for the first time.

For the project, young talents will receive support from engineers and experienced employees from the Technical Development, Design and Production departments at SKODA's headquarters in Mladá Boleslav. In addition, students excitedly created the first sketches of their dream car in the SKODA Design department. In terms of design, they are supported by ŠKODA Head of Design Oliver Stefani and his team.

Students began to shape the interior and exterior design of the new ŠKODA Student Car and move on to other stages. Revealing the distinctive design of the race car, the students also refer to the 120th anniversary of SKODA Motorsport, which has achieved countless successes.
