İzmir Metropolitan Municipality started to work again in Selçuk District Terminal, which will be completed with an investment of approximately 22 million liras. The Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its supply construction without slowing down, will bring the “tourism paradise” district to a modern district terminal in 2022.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has resumed work on the district terminal in Selçuk, one of Turkey's most important tourism locations, which will be admired for its architecture and equipment. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which went out to tender for the rapid completion of the terminal construction, which was left unfinished due to the withdrawal of the contractor company, delivered the site to the winning company. The cost of the district terminal, which is planned to be completed in July 2022, will be approximately 22 million liras.

Both aesthetic and functional

The terminal has been specially prepared both visually and functionally, taking into account the intense tourist potential of the district. Reinforced concrete fabrication of the Selçuk District Terminal, which was built to meet all kinds of needs of disabled individuals with a 'user friendly' design approach, and steel reinforced aluminum capped curtain wall fabrications were completed. The remaining 35 percent of the district terminal's production will be completed without slowing down.

New meeting point

The district terminal, which will be put into service with an investment of approximately 22 million liras, is being built on a land of 10 thousand square meters belonging to the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Located in Isabey District, the terminal will meet the transportation needs of the district with 16 minibuses and 15 bus platforms. Selcuk District Terminal will have social-trade areas such as qualified and spacious waiting areas, cafe, kiosk, market and ticket sales office, as well as a closed parking lot for approximately 50 vehicles.
