Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will build escalators and escalators to facilitate pedestrian access to the 166 street between Hatay Metro Station and Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in Karabağlar. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented human-oriented investments that will make life easier in pedestrian traffic as well as vehicle traffic, is going to the construction tender on October 166, 14 for the arrangement project it has prepared for Karabağlar 2021 street. 166 Street, which is between Hatay Metro Station and Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital on Journalist Hasan Tahsin Street and used by thousands of İzmir residents every day, will be completely renovated with the prepared arrangement.

Within the scope of the project prepared by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation, solutions were produced to make the lives of the citizens easier, taking into account the sloping structure of the street and its daily use. It was decided to go out to tender for the construction of 166 moving walks and 6 escalator on 1 streets. The manufacturing works, which will start after the site delivery, will be completed in 8 months. There is a hydraulic elevator suitable for disabled access in the project. There will be a pergola system to create a shadow area at the top of the walking bands. 166 Street will be given an aesthetic appearance by landscaping and landscaping.
