TCDD Transportation General Manager Hasan Pezük and TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş, TCDD Transportation Deputy General Manager Şinasi Kazancıoğlu and related managers set out for Konya on October 11 for the test drive of the Konya-Karaman high-speed train, whose construction was completed and test drives started.
The General Managers, who started their visit with the meeting with the management staff at Konya Station, made on-site inspections for the final controls of the Konya-Karaman high-speed train line. At the meeting, where the vehicle fleet was ready on the Konya-Karaman line, the completion of the certification processes of the vehicles and the line, and the most efficient operation of the line were discussed, the targets taken at the 6th Transport and Communications Council held on 7-8-12 October and their implementation in this direction. Necessary work was discussed.
Pezük and Akbaş, who traveled with the test vehicle after the meeting; He did not neglect to stop by Kaşıkhan, Çumra and Arıkören Stations. General Managers noted that this high-speed train line built up to Karaman is one of the important steps in the railway's goal of reaching all over Turkey, and General Manager Pezuk added: “Every day, we witness how high-speed trains are preferred by citizens. The Konya-Karaman high-speed train, which everyone is looking forward to, will be put into operation after the ongoing test drives and will be one step closer to the railway transportation targets.
