Having received the title of “City of Bicycles”, Sakarya is hosting the BMX World Cup, which will be the first in Turkey. On October 23-24 and 30-31, 30 athletes from more than 250 countries will pedal in the Metropolitan Sunflower Cycling Valley. President Ekrem Yüce, who invited him to the organization that will be like a festival for 9 days, said, “The BMX world cup will be held in our city for the first time in Turkey. We look forward to experiencing this excitement in the Bicycle Valley, which is the center of the world in cycling.”

The BMX World Cup will be held for the first time in Turkey in Sakarya, which has been awarded the title of "City of Bicycles". There is a feverish preparation for breathtaking races in Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Sunflower Cycling Valley, which is the center of cycling with the events it has hosted and organized in the field of bicycles. For the races to be held in the "Cross" and "MTB" categories, the tracks in the valley were painted and special areas were created for the participants. The fairground, located in the valley, is being prepared for EXPO and fairs to be held for 9 days, during which the races will continue.
2 world races and Turkish championships
In this area, tents have been set up where associations, institutions or businesses operating in the field of bicycles from Turkey and throughout Sakarya can exhibit their products and services. For children and young people who will follow the breathtaking races in the valley, platforms for games and shows are being assembled. According to the program, the BMX World Cup (Super Cross Race) will be held on the track on October 23-24 and October 30-31, and MTB Turkey Championship and MTB Sakarya Championship will be held in the field of "mountain driving" between these dates. Around 30 athletes from more than 250 countries will participate in the races.
