Organized with the participation of chambers and commodity exchanges in Bursa, the 20th of the 'Common Mind Meetings' was held at the Gökmen Space Aviation Training Center (GUHEM), hosted by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The 13th of the Common Mind Meetings, which brought together 20 chambers and commodity exchanges operating in Bursa, was held in GUHEM. Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) Chairman of the Board of Directors İbrahim Burkay, who spoke at the meeting held with the participation of chambers and commodity exchange presidents, council presidents and members of the board of directors, said that the common mind meetings they started in 2013 with the aim of carrying Bursa to a stronger future in unity and solidarity are now part of the meeting. He said it has become a tradition. Noting that these meetings strengthened the cooperation and solidarity between chambers and commodity exchanges, President Burkay thanked all chambers and commodity exchanges for their participation.

BTSO Chairman of the Board İbrahim Burkay, who gave information about Gökmen Space Aviation Training Center, emphasized that GUHEM is the work of a vision that will shape Turkey's next 50 years. Stating that all developed economies around the world have made significant investments in the field of space and aviation, President Burkay said, “There are centers in the USA, Canada and France that undertake the task of transformation, especially in order to direct the younger generation to these areas. GUHEM became the first aerospace themed interactive training center in Turkey in this field.” said.

Stating that more than 1,5 years have been left behind in the pandemic process, President Burkay emphasized that there have been positive developments in industrial production, exports and investments in Bursa with normalization. Noting that Bursa's exports reached 9 billion dollars in the first 11 months of the year, President Burkay pointed out that there has been a significant increase in the interest and orders for Bursa in every sector, especially in the last period. Stating that as BTSO, they accelerated the international fairs, B2B and procurement committee organizations that will pave the way for the sectors in exports, İbrahim Burkay said, “We need to focus on exports in the new period. In this period, it will be the only exit point for our foreign trade companies. As the Chamber, we will organize 7 fairs and procurement committee organizations until the end of this year, and 40 next year. It is very important for our district chambers and commodity exchanges to take part in these events.” he said.

Stating that they have signed an important cooperation with Turkish Cargo in order to gain speed and cost advantage in foreign trade operations to Bursa companies, President Burkay said, “The difficult competitive conditions in the world have increased the importance of regional cooperation. In the current competitive environment, logistics is one of the most important issues that will increase efficiency. With the cooperation between BTSO Lojistik AŞ, the subsidiary of our chamber, and Turkish Cargo, our companies will have the opportunity to transport their products to 127 countries from Yenişehir Airport.
