The teams of the Department of Science Affairs completed the connection between Bağlıca Boulevard and Ankara Ring Road, which is shown as one of the transportation projects with a robust and modern road project design, and opened it to traffic. Announcing on their social media accounts that they have completed the connection road, which consists of 3 round-trip lanes, with a cost of 3 million TL, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş said, “We are establishing a comfortable and safe transportation network in Ankara by implementing projects that will give our city traffic a breather.”
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to bring together new transportation projects that will ease the city traffic and prevent accidents with the citizens of the Capital.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented one of the projects that prioritize safe driving and life safety, completed the Bağlıca Boulevard-Ankara Ring Road connection, which will reduce the traffic density of the Etimesgut district, and opened it to traffic.
Announcing that the connection road has been opened to traffic on his social media accounts, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş said, “We have completed and opened the connection road, which consists of 3 round-trip lanes connecting Bağlıca Boulevard and Ankara Ring Road, with a cost of 3 million TL. We are establishing a comfortable and safe transportation network in Ankara by realizing the projects that will give our city traffic a breath of fresh air.
MODERN ROAD PROJECT CONSISTING OF TOTAL 6 LANES
In terms of road construction and project details, Bağlıca Boulevard-Ankara Ring Road, which has a recently made robust and modern road project design and is shown as the project that provides connection to Ankara's largest ring road, consists of a total of 6 round-trip lanes.
The Baglica Boulevard-Ring Road connection, which is vital for the Sincan-Etimesgut region, will solve the transportation problem of the region and will facilitate the transportation of the Yapracık region to the center. In the 6-kilometer-long connection road project with 8 connecting branches, a total of 110 thousand tons of asphalt was produced, while 8 kilometers of guardrails and 15 kilometers of road lines were used.
INTERCHANGE AND ROAD COSTS ARE ANNOUNCED WITH A TRANSPARENT MUNICIPALISM APPROACH
Continuing to share the costs of road construction and intersection works with the citizens with a transparent municipal understanding, the Metropolitan Municipality announced the construction cost of the Bağlıca Boulevard-Ring Road connection as 72 million TL with a poster.
The drivers of the capital city, who closely follow the construction stages of the connection road opened to traffic, as well as the residents of the region and the tradesmen, expressed their satisfaction with the work that will reduce the traffic density with the following words:
-Hikmet Tabakoglu: “When we used the Bağlıca road before, we were stuck in traffic. After the completion of the work, we can easily reach the place we want without getting stuck in the city traffic.”
