The torch-lighting ceremony of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games will be held in the ancient Greek city of Olympia on October 18. The torch will be delivered to the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee at a ceremony to be held at the Panathenaic Stadium in Greece on October 19. The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics are scheduled for February 4-20 next year.
On the other hand, International Olympic Committee (IOC) Sports Director Kit McConnell stated that they received positive feedback from international athletes who participated in the test events at the competition facilities of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
McConnell said in a statement, “The feedback we have received from international athletes is very gratifying. Many of these athletes will participate in the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in February. "Athletes' assessments of both facilities and testing organizations are all positive," he said.
