Application Date for Electricity Storage Facilities Has Been Determined

Applications for the electricity storage unit integrated into the electricity generation facilities and for the independent electricity storage facility will start to be received as of October 21st.

EMRA announced that applications within the scope of electricity storage activities will start this month in accordance with the Temporary Article 1 of the Regulation on Storage Activities in the Electricity Market, titled "Starting to receive applications". According to the announcement;

• Pre-license applications for the electricity storage unit integrated in the production facility,
• Supply license applications for the stand-alone electricity storage unit,
• Applications for pre-license/license or supply license amendment for the addition of an integrated electricity storage unit and a separate electricity storage facility to the production facility,

As of October 06.07.2019, 30823, in accordance with the “Procedures and Principles Regarding Applications Regarding Associate Degree and License Transactions” published in the Official Gazette dated 05.10.2021 and numbered 31619 and the annexes of these Procedures and Principles published in the Official Gazette dated 21 and numbered 2021. will be received.
