200 million lira resource

Beside the earthquake victims

Apart from the One Rent One Home campaign, only 5 million 216 thousand 35 liras of rental support was provided to 126 thousand 900 earthquake victims from the metropolitan budget.

Solved the housing problem

The Metropolitan Municipality also provided the earthquake victims with free accommodation for one year in the residences in Uzundere. 5 rooms of a 380-star hotel building were opened to earthquake victims. People and institutions that want to support earthquake victims were brought together through the People's Grocery. In this way, donations of 19 million TL were provided in different items such as white goods, furniture, small household appliances, food, clothing, shelter and stationery. The household goods of a thousand households were completed. The Metropolitan Municipality, which established stations at 17 different points during the earthquake, distributed food to 171 people.

Building identification system is being installed

On March 4, 2021, the Metropolitan Municipality decided to take an inventory of the existing building stock in the city and signed a protocol with the Izmir Branch of the Chamber of Civil Engineers (IMO).
