Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu drew attention to the fact that they removed the phrase "women cannot work" in the worker position qualification tables in the new contract. Karaismailoğlu said, “In this way, the limitation on the job field for new female candidates who will apply for a job, together with our female friends who are still working, has been lifted.” Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu spoke with the Ministry at the 19th term collective bargaining agreement ceremony of TÜHİS Yol-İş. Karaismailoğlu said, “With the aim of raising our country among the 10 largest economies in the world, we continue our work with a 7/24 service approach, and we are implementing mega projects that the world follows with envy. Those who look at our projects only as roads or bridges are wrong, as usual. These projects, which brought Turkey to a new age, not only contribute to employment, economy and trade, but also enable our citizens to travel comfortably and safely. It makes a significant contribution to the welfare level of our people," he said.
Emphasizing that the Northern Marmara Highway, Ankara-Niğde Highway, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Osmangazi Bridge, the ongoing 1915 Çanakkale Bridge and many other projects should be handled with their contributions to the economy, Karaismailoğlu said that these projects are part of the development goals and works that strengthen Turkey's power. He said it had to be seen.

Karaismailoğlu said, “It is extremely important that we reach a consensus in the meetings held in order to protect the wages and social rights of our fellow workers who support us with their sweat, wrist, effort, mind, idea and heart in our provincial organizations working all over the country, together with the central administration of our ministry.” The new Turkey will rise with you.”
Noting that the Kovid-19 epidemic, which affected Turkey as well as the world, affected all modes of transportation, including central and rural, Karaismailoğlu made the following assessments:
“Due to the pandemic, the health system, working life and economic structure of many developed countries have been deeply injured. However, with our strong management approach and a series of economic measures we took under the leadership of our President, we all made an effort to get through this process with the least possible damage. Along with the short-time working allowance, we have taken serious measures to protect the sector and our employees, with many tax exemptions, on time and in place. In 2020, when the pandemic was felt most intensely, we continued our business uninterruptedly by following the measures of the Ministry of Health in all our construction sites where our investments continue. While many developed countries shrank in 2020, when the effects of the epidemic were felt most severely, our country grew by 1,8 percent. We grew by 2021 percent in the first quarter of 7,2. With the 21,7 percent rate we achieved in the second quarter, we succeeded in being the second fastest growing country.”
WE ARE MAKING OUR INVESTMENTS TO LIFE DESPITE THOSE WHO ARE TRYING TO BADGE
Using the expressions, “While we were covering our country with iron nets and advanced highways, we made the airway the 'people's way'”, Minister of Transport, Karaismailoğlu said, “We increased the investment share of the sea route by 2021 percent in the first seven months of 36. Our IT and communication sector grew by nearly 2021 percent in the first half of 19. We can explain this growth in our economy with the strong and stable management, functioning economy and dynamic production system throughout the country. Despite those who try to distract us from our 2023 goals and try to hinder us, we will continue to implement our investments one by one, with firm steps under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. There are those who cannot take our blessed walk from time to time, and those who want to prevent it. Bridges, tunnels, airports, which have become an integral part of our people's lives today, enable a product produced in Turkey to easily find its counterpart abroad. Why? Because Turkey is now in a central location in terms of logistics. Countless economic, temporal and environmental benefits that are proud of today; Haven't our safe roads that carry our product to the market, our patient to the hospital, our child to school, and our airports that transport our people to the world, not always met with resistance? But in the end, as projects, each of which has been adopted by our nation and created added value, they have written their names in the history of New Turkey with golden letters. As it has been for 19 years, despite those who defame us, we will overcome this period successfully thanks to your efforts and self-sacrificing stance.”
NEW RIGHTS BRINGED TO FEMALE EMPLOYEES
Stating that the signed collective bargaining agreement will accelerate the production and growth rate, Karaismailoğlu emphasized that they brought new rights to women employees in the 19th term collective bargaining agreement.
Emphasizing that they removed the phrase “women cannot work” in the worker position qualification tables in the new contract, Karaismailoğlu said, “In this way, the job area limitation for female candidates who will apply for a new job, together with our female friends who are still working, has been lifted. TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATIONS COUNCIL WILL DRAW A NEW ROADMAP
Referring to the 12th Transport and Communication Council in his speech, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said that there will be closed sessions with the participation of Ministers of Transport and Deputy Ministers from 55 different countries. At the Council, Karaismailoğlu discussed the cooperation opportunities, regional problems and solution proposals in the sector on mega transportation projects that can change the world, improving transportation in the post-Kovid-19 world, setting new standards for flexibility and global supply chains, development of economy and transportation corridors that will provide holistic development, and its impact on countries. He said they would discuss it.
Karaismailoğlu concluded his words as follows:
“I would like to especially emphasize that the 'Turkish Transportation Policy', which will draw our new roadmap in reaching Turkey's 2023, 2035, 2053 and 2071 targets, will be shaped in our Council. With the 3th Transport and Communication Council, which will last for 12 days, we will bring together experts, local and foreign senior managers, scientists, representatives of non-governmental organizations and the private sector on policies and strategies that will achieve these goals.”
