The pilot application of the bicycle park with a capacity of 5 bicycles at the Dikimevi Station of the ANKARAY Plant was offered to the people of Ankara free of charge.
The first example of the preparation of Bicycle Park infrastructures at the Rail System (ANKARAY-Metro) Stations was made at ANKARAY Dikimevi Station, in order to spread the use of bicycles, which is also an environmentally friendly means of transportation, to reach the Rail System lines (ANKARAY-Metro), which is an environmentally friendly means of transportation.
The old bicycle parking anchors, which are currently in the open air in the area where the taxi stand is located on the ANKARAY AŞTİ Station, were dismantled by the on-duty teams, brought into compliance with the standards and positioned in a way not to affect the transit route of the passengers at the DIKİMEVI Station.
The Bicycle Park, which was built at no cost to our organization and made available free of charge, will be monitored twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week by camera systems in Dikimevi Station.
After the evaluation to be made by monitoring the usage density, Bicycle Park will be built at our other metro stations.
