Dönmez denied the claims that Turkey buys gas too expensive and said, “BOTAŞ' natural gas purchase price is in line with the current indicators in the international market and is below 1300 dollars.”

Minister Dönmez also touched upon the allegations that TPAO and BOTAŞ will be privatized, “There is absolutely no question of selling either TPAO or BOTAŞ. There has never been such an agenda," he said.
