A total of 8 freight trains have passed through Erenhot, the largest train station on the border between China and Mongolia, since the day it opened, according to local authorities. The border railway station entered service in 2013. The 8th freight train operating at the aforementioned station carries supplies to Malaszewicze, Poland, departing from the city of Putian in the eastern province of Fujian in China.

Located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China, the station will now follow 53 rail routes. These China-Europe rail lines will start from 40 different Chinese cities and provide the opportunity to transport them to 60 different destinations in ten countries. According to a balance sheet released on October 19, a total of 2 trains passed through Erenhot station this year. This number represents an increase of 172 percent compared to a year ago.
