A nostalgia race was held on the 30th anniversary of the International Triathlon races, hosted by Alanya Municipality. Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel accompanied the athletes on the bicycle track of the race. In the race, the athletes swam 300 meters, pedaled for 6 km, and then ran 1.6 km. THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL NOSTALGIA RACE WAS HELD IN THE INTERNATIONAL TRIATLON RACE
A nostalgia race was held on the 30th anniversary of the International Triathlon races, hosted by Alanya Municipality. Athletes who competed in Alanya between 30-1991 competed again in the 2000th Alanya Triathlon Nostalgia Races. 90 athletes participated in the race, including Bayram Yalçınkaya, the President of the Turkish Triathlon Federation, who competed in Alanya in the 21s. Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, Youth Services and Sports Manager Emre Kıldırgıcı and Alanya Municipality Sports Manager Levent Uğur accompanied Federation President Bayram Yalçınkaya and the athletes on the bike track.

Making a statement at the end of the race, Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel said, “Only Germany and Turkey are among the countries in the world that have continued this event for 30 years. We, too, are justifiably proud of our 30 years of uninterrupted operation in our Alanya. These organizations add happiness and peace to Alanya's life and of course contribute greatly to the promotion of Alanya. Through these and similar organizations, Alanya becomes the capital of sports. It is a place where the most beautiful organizations in the world can be held due to its physical, geographical environment and weather conditions. We have the infrastructure to carry all the organizations in the world. I would like to thank all the athletes who participated in the 30th anniversary nostalgia races by not breaking us.” said.
FEDERATION PRESIDENT YALÇINKAYA “WORLD RECORD WILL BE BROKEN”
Bayram Yalçınkaya, President of the Turkish Triathlon Federation, said, “We had a mini nostalgia race with our friends who competed in the 90s, everyone enjoyed it very much. A world record will be broken in the Mixed Relay races that will take place today. Even in Tokyo Olympics, a maximum of 29 teams participated in the Mixed Relay Races, where 34 teams will participate for the first time today. This will be a record worthy of Alanya's 30th anniversary.” said.
