Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its moral support to the people of Izmir over the age of 65, who have moved away from social life due to the pandemic. Metropolitan Social Services Department brought the residents of Zübeyde Hanım Nursing Home together on a tour of the Gulf. The residents of the nursing home, who enjoyed the 70-year veteran of the Izmir Bay, Bergama Ferry, had a great time with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Pop Orchestra. The special tour, which was held within the framework of mask, distance and hygiene rules, lasted two hours.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department Nursing Home Branch Manager Gülgün Yılmaz said, “We had a very good day, everyone was very happy. We went through a long pandemic process. The Gulf tour was a morale and motivation for the residents of the nursing home. We would like to thank everyone who contributed,” he said.
