Traffic Stopped in Bursa, Movement Started

Kükürtlü Caddesi, which was closed to traffic by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality as part of the European Mobility Week Car Free Day Event, was left to young people on bicycles, street games and children playing mini golf.

Celebrated by the European Commission since 2002 in order to encourage cities and municipalities to take and support sustainable transportation measures, the European Cycling Week activities, whose national coordination task is carried out by the Union of Municipalities of Turkey, continue with colorful images in Bursa. After the morning exercise and the wellness tour with cycling, skating and skateboarding in Hüdavendigar City Park, this time the Car Free Day Event was held. In the event held on Kükürtlü Street, while young people with bicycles enjoyed touring the street closed to traffic by bicycle, the students of Kükürtlü Chamber of Commerce and Industry Primary School did their physical education lessons on the traffic-free street. Children playing street games and mini golf on the street had a pleasant time. The events ended with wrestling and theater performances.
