Reaching more than 2020 thousand participants through distance education in 100, the Ministry of Commerce Training Center reached the target of 150 thousand participants this year.

Since the first day of the pandemic, the Ministry of Commerce has become one of the institutions that have survived the adaptation process by moving all educational activities to the electronic environment.

The Ministry of Commerce, which has entered the process of redesigning the content according to the distance education approach, has also developed the existing content within the framework of savings measures and presented it to the service of the institution personnel.

Interactive training modules were used

With the interactive training modules, which started to be used for the first time in 2021, it was aimed to increase the learning level of the Ministry personnel by interacting with interactive applications and contents.

The content in question, called SCORM, an international e-learning standard, was produced by the Ministry of Commerce personnel using their own resources. More than 110 interactive SCORM modules and over 500 video tutorials have been prepared so far.

Exam modules are designed

Education modules were designed with exams for the first time this year by the Ministry, and measurement and evaluation processes were carried out online. In order for the participants to complete the training, they were required to be successful in the exams at the end of the modules.

In the distance education process, where modules with exams were applied for the first time, the first assigned module with exam was successfully completed by more than 4000 personnel.

Training shoots are done in the Green Box environment

The Ministry of Commerce, which closely follows e-learning standards and aims to increase the quality of continuous education, also started training shoots in the Green Box environment it created with its own means. All processes, including animation, graphic design and making content interactive, are carried out by ministry personnel.

The ministry, which carries out more than 80 percent of the trainings with the distance education method, uses all types of distance education in the form of interactive, video and live virtual classrooms.

On the other hand, work continues on the projects of making exam trainings certified and establishing a professional studio.
