Within the scope of the circular published by the Ministry of Interior in order to combat the Covid 19 epidemic, certain rules have been set for intercity travels as of September 6, 2021.

In this context, the Republic of Turkey State Railways made a written statement about intercity train travel within the framework of the PCR Test Obligation Circular;

Dear Passengers;

Within the framework of the "PCR Test Obligation Circular for Some Activities" dated 20.08.2021 of the Ministry of Interior, regarding your intercity train journey;

HES code is not required for infant passengers under 2 years old.

Our passengers under the age of 18 will be able to buy their tickets with the HES code and travel on our trains with the HES code.

Our passengers over the age of 18 will buy their tickets with the HES code and when getting on the train;

a) Those who have been vaccinated and passengers who have become immune by passing the disease (according to the period of time that is scientifically considered immune after Covid 19 disease) document their status from the HES application,

b) Passengers who have not been vaccinated and have not had any disease will travel by submitting the negative PCR test results made maximum 48 hours before.

c) HES Code control will continue at Station and Station entrances.

Passengers who cannot present the necessary documents during the control to be made on the YHT control points and trains will not be allowed to travel, and if they are detected on the train, they will be disembarked at the first station where the train stops and the ticket fee will not be refunded.
