Our Minister of Family and Social Services Derya Yanık stated that the monthly Social and Economic Support (SED) payments for the children of families in need have started in September.
Stating that they aim to support children primarily with their families, Minister Yanık noted that an average of 1259 liras was given for each child.
Minister Yanık stated that the SED aid has started to be deposited into accounts today and will be completed by September 15. Minister Yanik said:
“We attach importance to family integrity for the healthy development of our children. Our goal is to prevent our children from growing up far from their families due to economic reasons and to meet their needs and ensure that they grow up together with their families. In this direction, we offer Social and Economic Support (SED) services to our families in need. SED is regularly deposited into our families' accounts every month. We will make 170 million TL SED payment for September.”
