The Robotic Coding Workshop at Hayati Harrani Youth Center, which was realized with the cooperation of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality and CONCERN Worldwide, within the scope of “Building Tomorrow” Project, was opened.
Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, which aims to raise a generation that can produce new applications by improving the computer usage skills of young talents and teaching coding to children who follow technology closely, put the robotic coding workshop supported by the European Union Delegation and CONCERN Worldwide into service at Hayati Harrani Youth Center.
After the opening, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül visited the robotic coding workshop and consulted with CONCERN Worldwide Director Ali Fuat Sütlü, European Union Delegation Project Manager Burçe Dündar on such projects and developing cooperation.
Chairman Beyazgül: "This project will teach young people how to fish"
Making evaluations after the workshop tour, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül mentioned the importance of robotic coding and innovation. Chairman Beyazgül: “The Robotic Coding Workshop is an important project that will teach our young people how to fish, not to give them fish. Our young people will shape the future of Şanlıurfa in harmony in this workshop.”
CONCERN Worldwide Director Ali Fuat Sütlü talked about the aims of the project and underlined that such projects are gaining importance in order to gain technology-based skills.
European Union Delegation Project Manager Burçe Dündar stated that the robotic coding workshop realized in Şanlıurfa is offered to young people of all ages who are open to learning.
