20 volunteer employees of OEDAŞ, which realizes projects for a clean environment as well as providing uninterrupted electricity supply, participated in the cleaning works in the city forest in Bilecik. As a result of the work, 500 bags of garbage, which are close to 50 kilograms, were cleaned.
Osmangazi Electricity Distribution Corporation (OEDAŞ), which provides electricity distribution services in Afyonkarahisar, Bilecik, Eskişehir, Kütahya and Uşak provinces, continues to carry out projects for a clean environment. In this context, with the participation of 20 volunteer OEDAŞ employees and Environment and Urbanization Provincial Director Mustafa Budak, a garbage collection event was carried out in the city forest in Bilecik, and at the end of the day, 500 bags of garbage close to 50 kilograms were collected.
OEDAŞ Bilecik Provincial Manager Hacı Kadir Aykut said, “In addition to meeting the electricity distribution service, we are working to leave a clean environment for future generations. Even a small glass bottle thrown away can cause very sad accidents in our forests. Based on this reality, we aimed for a cleaner environment with our forest clearing activity in Bilecik. For this beautiful project, I would first like to thank our Bilecik Provincial Director of Environment and Urbanization, Mustafa Budak, and his team for their contributions, to other participants and my colleagues, and to give the good news that we will continue to work for the development and growth of this project in the coming days.
