Kadıköy Municipality took a break last year due to the epidemic. Kadıköy The Cartoon Festival will be held on September 24 this year at Yoğurtçu Park. SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN

Comic books, cartoon magazines and their products will also meet with the enthusiasts at the stands set up in the festival area. Children were not forgotten at the festival either. Workshops will be held for children together with the stands of children's publishing houses. In the workshops to be held by the Illustrators Platform, Çağla Köseoğlu will organize a “Drawing Workshop with Children” on Friday, September 24 at 15.00 with children aged 6-9. On Saturday, September 25, Aysun Neşeli will meet with children at the “Illustration Drawing Workshop”. On Sunday, September 26, at 15.00, İrma Zmiric Çetinkaya and at 16.00 Ümit Dizdar will give drawing training to the children for one hour.

AUCTION MEETING

In the auction section, which is a pleasant habit for collectors, rare magazines and drawings of the cartoon and cartoon world will be auctioned. The auction, which will be organized by the Comic Book Readers Association on Sunday, September 26, will be held between 15.00-18.00.

FILM SCREENS

Two films will be screened in the festival program this year. On Saturday, September 25, at 21.00, Oscar-winning Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki's movie “The Walking Castle” will be able to be watched. It will also be screened in "Spider-Man in the Spider-Verse" directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman on Sunday, September 26 at 21.00 PM.
