Izmir Airshow, the aviation show organized as part of the 99th anniversary of the liberation of Izmir, carried the enthusiasm of September 9 to the skies.
İzmir's 99th liberation anniversary events hosted the sky feast. The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar, the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar, the Governor of İzmir Yavuz Selim Köşger and thousands of citizens attended the İzmir Airshow held in Gündoğdu Square.
In the event, which continued until sunset, 12 different air show crews danced in the skies of Izmir with more than 50 aircraft. The air show, which started with the fascinating show of the Turkish Stars and Solo Türk, continued with civil and military air shows, especially the helicopter homage Hürkuş, Gendarmerie Steel Wings, Police Aviation Grape Cluster Show.
The people of İzmir, who flocked to Gündoğdu Square and Kordon to watch the show, in which the crescent and star flag colors the sky, immortalized the unforgettable moments by taking souvenir photos.
