“International Yed-i Velayet 8 Provinces Short Film Festival 7th Art Summer Cinema” organized by the Ehli Sanat Cinema and Culture Association for the 7th time this year with the support of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Cinema, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. ” begins its outdoor screenings.

Due to the pandemic that has affected Turkey and the whole world, within the scope of this year's festival dedicated to healthcare workers, free public screenings will be held at Kent Meydani Shopping Center on September 11-12-13-14, in the open area in front of İnegöl Sculpture on September 16, 21: It will be held between 00 / 22:00.

This year, at the 8th International Yed-i Velayet 7 Provinces Short Film Festival, under the name of 'Physicians of the Great Age', the great physician İbn-i Sina, who found the cure for leprosy by applying the first quarantine in history, applied chemistry for the first time in medicine, Er Razi, who made the first disinfectant, the great pharmacologist El-Biruni, whose name was given to the middle age, the first psychologist Ibn-i Bacce, Ibn-i Nefis, who found the small blood circulation, and El-Zehravi, who is seen as the father of surgery, were moved to the cinema screen. In addition to 7 historical films, 7 short films that glorify human and human values ​​will be screened in the short film category.

Festival Committee President Eda Sürmeli said in a statement; “As part of this year's festival, we produced and helped produce films that could be watched by 3 generations side by side. We are waiting for all Bursa residents to our free public screenings, and we want to complete the festival that we dedicate to all our healthcare professionals with enthusiasm this year, as we do every year.” said.
