Hyundai received the highest award in the 2021 IDEA Design competition with its IONIQ and Genesis brands. Hyundai Motor Company continues to increase its claim and power with its brands. Most recently, Hyundai has received the highest awards in the world-famous IDEA Design Excellence competition, which is organized by the Industrial Designers Association of America and is considered one of the most authoritative design awards in North America.
IONIQ 5, which was selected as the best vehicle in the automotive and vehicles category of IDEA, thus proved its claim and success in the field of design with the gold award it won. The IONIQ 5's design features an environmentally friendly color material coating (CMF), which Hyundai seamlessly combines parametric pixels, analog and digital styling features. Thanks to these design features, while the car has a very impressive design, it also highlights its environmental identity as befits a BEV vehicle.
Hyundai draws the attention of institutions and authorities not only with the quality models it produces and designs, but also with the technological systems it uses in its vehicles. IDEA jury members also chose the Hyundai Bluelink connection application as the best application in the digital category.
Genesis, Hyundai's luxury brand, won the best infotainment system award at the IDEA awards with the touch screen used in its models. Incorporating a copper design theme, this infotainment system contributes to the luxurious and elegant brand identity of the Genesis models, while at the same time providing an impeccable service as a user-friendly mobility solution.
