Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its green space attack in the Capital. An area of approximately 62 thousand square meters on the Atatürk Forest Farm land, which has been idle for years, was opened under the name of Gazi Park on the 30th of August Victory Day and was offered to the citizens of the Capital. Gazi Park, which has a very wide area from the activity meadow to the Nilüfer pond, from the sports fields to the children's playgrounds, got full marks from the people of the Capital.
The Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to make Ankara the capital of green, without slowing down. As part of the August 30 Victory Day openings, the Metropolitan Municipality, which brought 13 district parks to the Capital, continues its green space attack.
62 THOUSAND WIRELESS GREEN AREA
The Environmental Protection and Control Department has opened an area of approximately 62 thousand square meters, which is located on the Atatürk Forest Farm land and has been idle for years, under the name of Gazi Park, so that the citizens of the Capital can have a pleasant time.
The park, built at the intersection of Güvercinlik Caddesi and Çiftlik Caddesi, within the borders of Etimesgut- Bahçekapı Neighborhood, in order to preserve the legacy of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Founder of our Republic, will be one of the new nature areas of Ankara with its activity and recreation areas that appeal to everyone from 7 to 70.
FROM BEACH VOLLEYBALL FIELD TO NILUFER POND
Grass hills in the park, children's playgrounds, children's sand pool, Nilüfer Pond where arm fish swim, open air cinema, activity meadow where many activities such as kite activity will be held, basketball and beach volleyball courts, badminton and tennis courts, chicken, rooster, rabbit There is also a pet-free roam area where dwarf goats, peacocks and ponies roam freely, a bicycle path, toilet and parking lot.

The park, which has become a frequent destination for the citizens of the Capital since the day it was put into service, received full marks by the citizens in a short time. Citizens who came to the park expressed their satisfaction with the following words:
Nesrin Giray: “I came for the first time. I love it. We live in Gazi Mahallesi. We were very satisfied.”
Asuman Ozturk: “We learned from our own neighborhood group that this place opened and we came right away. There was no place for the residents of Gazi District to go. It's been very good for us. We got our tea. We would like to thank our President Mansur. This place has been idle for years, we do not know why such a place was not built. But I would like to thank our President Mansur again.”
