President Altay invited all Konya residents to participate in the activities for sustainable transportation, healthy and safe mobility within the scope of the week, which is celebrated simultaneously with more than 2 cities in Europe.
BICYCLE TRAM IS FREE WITHIN THE WEEK
Within the framework of the European Mobility Week, which will continue until September 22, the bicycle tram, which will be decorated for the week, will provide free service for bicycle lovers from Konya and a t-shirt will be given to everyone who gets on the bicycle tram. In addition, 30 people using the bicycle tram between these dates will be given helmets and bags with a draw in the presence of a notary public.
FREE BIKE REPAIR Tents
Konya Metropolitan Municipality, which has placed free bicycle repair tents at various points of the city with Kültürpark during the week, will continue to repair and maintain the bicycles of cyclists who come to the tent free of charge.
HELMET GIVEN TO BICYCLE RIDERS
Konya Metropolitan Municipality also gave helmets to cyclists using the bike path in the city center. Bicycle and electric scooter drivers, who encountered the gift of the Metropolitan teams on their way to work by bicycle in the morning, thanked them.
INFORMATION AND AWARENESS EDUCATION ON SUSTAINABLE URBAN MOBILITY PLAN
On the opening day of the European Mobility Week; “Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan Information and Awareness Training” was held within the scope of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan Preparation Project. Ercan Uslu, Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, Şevket Altuğ Taşdemir, Head of İLBANK International Relations Department, and Serhat Akmeşe, EY Project Director, attended the program held at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Assembly Hall. Within the scope of the week, the Bicycle City Konya Painting Contest will be started on September 21 for the 4th grades of primary schools in Konya.
