Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu pointed out that with the completion of the 3 km project, which is planned as 3 lanes going and 28,4 lanes arriving, together with the junction arrangements, the traffic density on the route will decrease significantly and said, “Our projects and work in Ankara do not end. Next week Nallıhan, next week Akyurt, then Kızılcahamam. Our projects are coming one by one. We finish one, we start another," he said.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the opening ceremony of Aydın, Yazıbeyli and Saray Köprülü Junctions built within the scope of Ankara-Kahramankazan Road.

Expressing that Turkey has left behind the periods when investments were made at a rapid pace and decision-making processes could not be completed, Karaismailoğlu said, “Our country has become one of the main playmakers, not only in its region but also in the global plan, with its investments, which have grown in every field, implemented important projects, each more important than the other. With our projects, we support employment, trade and economy; We bring jobs to young people, food to households and prosperity to our people. We are proud of continuing to serve our country and our nation on the prosperous path that our President opened for us by saying 'The way is civilization'," he said.

Noting that they have implemented a new and effective policy that takes holistic development at its center and is shaped by the dynamics of mobility, digitalization and logistics, Karaismailoğlu said that they make every corner of Turkey accessible with thousands of kilometers of roads, bridges and viaducts made with the road map determined every year.

WE INCREASED THE LENGTH OF THE SPLIT ROAD TO 28 KM

Minister of Transport, Karaismailoğlu, said, "We have accomplished great things with the leadership of our President after 2003," and noted that they have increased the length of the divided road from 6 thousand 100 kilometers to over 28 thousand 260 kilometers.

Karaismailoğlu stated that they added 714 kilometers to the highway length of 809 kilometers and reached 3 kilometers, and continued his speech as follows:

“We crossed impassable mountains with tunnels and valleys with bridges. We increased our total tunnel length from 50 kilometers to 617 kilometers. We continue our very important projects that will shed light on the future of our country and carry our country into the future. In spite of the seeds of discord that someone has planted to confuse our country and hinder investments; We work together for our country, we produce together, we develop together”

OUR PROJECT CONTAINS 10 BRIDGES AND 2 AT GRADE INTERCHANGE

Emphasizing that they are proud to achieve these, to provide the best service to its people, to contribute to the development of Turkey and to shed light on its future, Karaismailoğlu said, “They will not be able to keep us from our unity and brotherhood, nor from our service policy! As it has been for years; We have carried and will continue to carry economic vitality, production, employment, education, health, social and cultural development to every corner of the country, regardless of city or village.”

Emphasizing that Ankara has received the share it deserves from these successful investments, Karaismailoğlu said that the Ankara-Kahramankazan Road Project is the product of this mind. Expressing that Kahramankazan district is growing day by day with industrial investments in recent years, Karaismailoğlu said:

“Many industrial organizations, especially the Turkish Aerospace Industry, are located here. Especially after the establishment of Ankara Logistics Base; Effectively meeting Ankara's import, export, transit and internal logistics needs has gained even more importance. For this reason, we redesigned the 2 km section of the Ankara-Kahramankazan Road, which is in the standard of the 2×28,4 lane BSK paved divided highway, as 2×3 lanes, in order to relieve the traffic congestion with the effect of daily travels, and we started working. There are 10 bridges and 2 at-grade intersections in our project, which starts from the Ankara Peripheral Highway and ends at the exit of Kahramankazan district. We have completed the construction of the 152-meter-long Saray Köprülü junction, which we have opened today, and the Aydın and Yazıbeyli Junctions, each of which is 122 meters long, and the 4,1 kilometer 2×3 lane section and put it into service. Our projects and work do not end in Ankara, next week Nallıhan, next week Akyurt, then Kızılcahamam. Our projects are coming one by one. We finish one and start another. We facilitate the life of our people and our nation and increase the quality of life.”

TRAVELS WILL BE MORE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE

Expressing that it is possible to develop the industrial income of the provinces with investments and work, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said that they know the best examples of this from big projects such as the Northern Marmara Motorway, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Osmangazi Bridge, Istanbul Izmir Highway, Ankara Niğde Smart Highway.

Emphasizing that Ankara and the surrounding provinces will develop further with the completion of the Kahramankazan highway investment, Karaismailoğlu made the following assessments:

“With the completion of our 3 km project, which we planned as 3 lanes going and 28,4 lanes arriving, together with the intersection arrangements, the traffic density on the route will decrease significantly and travels will be safer and more comfortable. The delays in the transit traffic passing through the region, the risk of accidents arising from the traffic density at the residential area crossings and turns will also be eliminated. Secondary road connection points will also be suitable for transit with bridged intersections. Most importantly, Kahramankazan, which has become the heart of industrial centers, will be easier to reach with other industrial zones of Ankara.”

ANNUAL TOTAL 227 MILLION TL WILL BE SAVED

Noting that a total of 200 million TL will be saved annually, 27 million TL from time and 227 million TL from fuel oil, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu noted that the carbon emission, which is given the utmost care in all projects, will be reduced by 10 thousand 754 tons.

Karaismailoğlu concluded his words as follows:

“We continue to work tirelessly, tirelessly, for Ankara, for Turkey, for the nation. Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are implementing our investments one by one with firm steps.”
