Airbus CyberSecurity, the world leader in sustainable transport, and Alstom have signed a worldwide cooperation agreement focusing on cybersecurity in rail transport.
The contract will enable the partners to provide rail operators with solutions and services that combine Alstom's solutions and expertise in rail transport with Airbus CyberSecurity's experience in securing service and industrial information systems.

“Based on our experience in cybersecurity of industrial systems, particularly in the transport sector, we are excited to contribute to securing information systems in the railway sector together with Alstom,” said Nicolas Razy, Director of Airbus CyberSecurity France.
Airbus CyberSecurity will contribute to joint offerings with its services and solutions in security monitoring and incident response of railway systems through various security operations centers (SOCs). It will also contribute to security audit services, penetration and intrusion tests through CyberRange, a simulation and testing platform especially for industrial systems.
Alstom brings its experience in the design, manufacture, operation and maintenance of railway systems into the partnership. As the world leader in digital rail, Alstom will also benefit from the unique rail cybersecurity expertise it has developed in recent years. Worldwide, Alstom has over 13.000 employees involved in digitalization in the railway industry, particularly in the areas of signal technology, smart mobility and cybersecurity.
In recent years, railway companies have developed ambitious digital strategies, especially to cope with the increasing number of passengers. They brought together Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT) and the Internet of Things (IoT), deployed and interconnected in the management and control systems of trains, subways and trams, track signaling systems and railway operations control centers. Thus, railway companies will be able to rely on solutions tailored for their industry by Alstom and Airbus CyberSecurity to protect their assets and provide their customers with safe and secure transportation.
