Works have started on bursaray city hospital line

On Friday… We have been informed that the project changes have been completed and the construction has started behind Balat, which will take Bursaray from its last stop, Emek Station, to the City Hospital on the Geçit-Balat route.

When we climbed the hill next to the City Hospital, which overlooks Balat, in order to get a view, we saw that the construction machines started the open land arrangement work on the route between Balat-Şehir Hospital.

Behind…

On the previous evening and yesterday morning, red-white mobile road separation systems were installed between Emek-Geçit on Mudanya Road.

However…

Excavations on the Mudanya Road will begin next week.

Thus…

Work on the Bursaray City Hospital line, whose foundation was laid on April 2 with a ceremony attended by the Minister of Transport, Adil Karaismailoğlu, but whose tender was renewed after the Council of State's cancellation, started in the process as it was planned.

At this point…

As the traffic density of Mudanya Road is known to increase in recent years, the question of what awaits drivers during the metro construction comes to mind.

We can answer him as follows:

When the first project was prepared for the metro line that will extend Bursaray from Emek to the City Hospital, it was planned that the Mudanya Road would be closed and the traffic would be given through the neighborhood as alternative roads.

But…

Due to the fact that Geçit is a functional and Mudanya Road is a busy artery, with the insistence and effort of Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş, the cancellation of the tender was turned into an opportunity and a project change was made.

In the new project…

Only 3 lane of Mudanya Road, which has 1 lanes for round trips, will be closed during the metro construction, and 2 lanes will be open for each round trip. In addition, transportation will be provided by alternative routes planned within the neighborhood.

We hope that there will be a trouble-free process and the metro construction will be completed in the planned time.
